Jack K. Smith, Jr., 80, of Titusville passed away Tuesday June 28 th at home. Born in Titusville, he was a life-long area resident. He retired from NJ Bell after 44 years of service. He was Past Master of Trenton Cyrus Lodge #5 and a member of Gothic Fraternal Lodge, Amwell Lodge and Horizon Daylight Lodge. He served on the Grand Master’s Staff in many positions during his service. He was presently the District Deputy Grand Master for the 15 th Masonic District. When he was younger he served as special police officer and umpire of Little League. He loved animals especially dogs and horses. Jack was a big fan of sports including baseball, football, and horse racing. He loved visiting the stable area of the racetrack with doughnuts and horse treats. Jack was the best husband, father, brother-in- law, uncle and friend to everyone.
Son of the late Jack K. Smith, Sr., and Rita M. Jones Smith, he is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty Jean Branham Smith, his son, Kevin Smith and friend Sandy Miller, his daughter, Cynthia Lynn Smith and partner Christopher Boyd, one niece and several nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 6 th 11:00 a.m. at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Road, Pennington with the Rev. William McQuoid officiating. The viewing will be Tuesday July 5 th 6-8 p.m. with Masonic services at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The burial will be in Harbourton Cemetery.
