Bayshore Ophthalmology opens two new locations

Bayshore Ophthalmology announces the opening of two new locations in Old Bridge and Metuchen, and the expansion of its panel of doctors to include two new associates. They will now be able to  provide a larger community with increased services in comprehensive ophthalmology, premium cataract surgery, laser-assisted surgery, Lasik, glaucoma and neuro-ophthalmology.

The 100 percent board-certified physician team is headed by Dr. Surekha Collur, who took over the Holmdel practice in 2003. She received her training at distinguished institutions including AIIMS, India; Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh; U Penn; SUNY Brooklyn; Tufts; and Wills Eye.

Dr Collur keeps abreast of the latest advances in glaucoma management and is proficient in advanced  cataract surgery, femto laser assisted surgery, premium lens implants, minimally invasive and incisional  glaucoma surgery and laser vision correction.

Dr. Cristin Subramaniam, a native of Plainsboro,received her training at  Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University; and Medical College of Wisconsin.

After graduation, she returned to New Jersey as a comprehensive ophthalmologist, providing high quality and compassionate eye care to adults and children, managing a wide variety of eye disorders, including dry eye syndrome and glaucoma. She uses the latest techniques to perform cataract surgery.

Dr. Caroline Moshel received her training at  Duke University; New York University School of Medicine;, and Wills Eye Hospital . Dr. Moshel’s interests include cataract surgery, dry eyes, cosmetic and medical Botox, optic neuritis, optic neuropathies, optic disc edema, brain tumors and strokes.
