AREA: Local collegians earn their degrees 

Eric Parker of Titusville graduated May 21, 2016, with a Bachelor of Science degree in sports/entertainment/event management from Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, N.C.
During his tenure at the university, Eric studied abroad in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia. He proudly finished his degree in less than four years. Eric is employed by the Charlotte Knights, a Tripe A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox baseball organization. He is the son of John and Theresa Parker.

Two Pennington residents received degrees from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn., during a commencement ceremony held in May.
The two are Sarah Croghan, who gained a Bachelor of Arts in public relations, and Stevenson Hawkey, a Bachelor of Arts in interactive digital design.

Hana Rose Kita of Titusville received a Bachelor of Science magna cum laude in nursing from Norwich University Northfield, Vt., at the May 14 commencement ceremony held in Shapiro Field House on campus.
Former U.S. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Raymond Odierno gave the commencement address after receiving an honorary doctorate in military science.
About 400 graduates received diplomas at the ceremony.

On May 22, Horace R. Klein, of Skillman, graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., with a Bachelor Science degree in engineering.
