HILLSBOROUGH: Local students make college dean’s lists

Taryn Grober of Hillsborough has made the dean’s list at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia for the spring semester. Taryn finished her freshman year; her major is food marketing.
A student must achieve a 3.5 or better to be included.

Hillsborough resident Pierce Shein has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Delaware, located in Newark. He received a 3.9 GPA studying in the College of Health and Sciences.

Rachel Shein of Hillsborough has earned an honors place on the dean’s list for the spring semester at West Chester University in Pennsylvania, where she received a 4.0 GPA. Rachel is a member of the Kappa Delta Pi education honor society. In the fall, she will be participating in the year-long student teaching program.

Nicole Rossi, a management information systems major and economics minor attending Rowan University, located in Glassboro, was recognized as a University Scholar and was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester. Dean’s list students have achieved a grade-point average of 3.45 or higher.

Three local residents have been named to the spring dean’s list at University of the Sciences, locate in Philadelphia. Selection is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a “C“ and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4.
The three making the list are Priyanka Kelshikar, a doctor of pharmacy student; Puja Desai, a doctor of physical therapy student and Lindsay Scala, a physician assistant studies student.
