PRINCETON POLICE BLOTTER: July 14

  • Police received a report of a sexual assault at 11:57 a.m. July 9. According to police, the alleged assault took place between December 2015 and June 2016 involving a juvenile boy and a juvenile girl who are familiar with each other. Police said the investigation is continuing. 
  • Daniel Mower, 27, or Riverside, New Jersey, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $305.02 from Burlington Township Municipal Court after being stopped on Quaker Road for improper passing at 8:07 p.m. on July 8, police said. Mr. Mower was turned over to Burlington Township police. 
  • Krystle Pascal, 28, of Robbinsville was arrested on an outstanding no-bail warrant from the Ocean County Superior Court after she was stopped by police at 3:53 p.m. July 8 on Witherspoon Street for a random license plate check. She was turned over to the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office. 
  • Princeton municipal government was the intended victim of an attempted theft by deception on July 8, police said. Between July 5 and July 8 someone used an email address similar to a Princeton government official and requested that the Finance Department wire money to a Massachusetts bank. Police said the criminal attempt was recognized and no money was transferred. Police are continuing to investigate. 
  • Dana Large, 33, of Yardley, Pennsylvania, was arrested on outstanding warrants totaling $5,270 issued by Trenton and Ewing municipal courts, police said. She was stopped at 8:34 a.m. July 8 on Alexander Street for failure to use a hands-free wireless telephone, police said. She posted bail at police headquarters and was released. 
  • A wallet was reported stolen from a purse inside St. Paul Church on Nassau Street at 11:42 a.m. July 9, police said. The victim told police that her wallet was taken while she was inside the church about noon on July 6. The wallet was turned in to the church secretary, but was missing $100 in cash. Police said that two of the victim’s credit cards were used fraudulently to make online purchases. Police are continuing to investigate. 
  • Carlos Molina, 33, of Elizabeth was arrested on a $405 warrant from Irvington Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop for failure to wear a seatbelt at 12:37 a.m. July 9 on Princeton-Kingston Road. He was released after posting bail. 
  • Police said a house in the 200 block of Laurel Circle was the target of someone who threw eggs at the building sometime between 2 and 5 a.m. on July 10, police reported. The mischief was reported at 2:20 p.m. that day. Police said there was no permanent damage to the house. 
