PRINCETON POLICE BLOTTER: July 15

  • Gary Goldberg, 24, of Dayton was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after his car was stopped on Nassau Street at 12:41 a.m. July 14 after a random license plate check. He was also arrested on an outstanding $215 nt from South Brunswick Municipal Court. He was released after posting bail. 
  • Harold Telleria, 43, of West New York was charged with credit card theft after he attempted to make a purchase at a Palmer Square West store at 3:45 p.m. July 14. He was arrested at the scene and later was also charged with fraudulent use of a credit card, theft by deception, tampering with evidence and possession of a false government document. H was released pending a court date. 
  • An 18-year-old Princeton man was charged with underage possession of alcohol, police said. Christopher Declement of Queenston Place was stopped on Nassau Street at 12:33 a.m. July 13 when he was seen carrying a bottle of wine, police said. He was released pending a court date. 
  • Cash was stolen from the center console of an unlocked car parked in the driveway of a Bertrand Drive house, sometime between 7 p.m. July 12 and 6:30 a.m. July 13, police reported. Police are continuing to investigate. 
  • Several pieces of construction material were stolen from a job site on Westerly Road on July 11, police said. Police said the person responsible for the theft was identified but the victim chose not to press charges. 
