The Edison Public Library Foundation will serve as the host when Linda Kenyon portrays Eleanor Roosevelt in “A Life of My Own: Meeting Eleanor Roosevelt” at 7 p.m. on July 27 at the Edison Main Library, 340 Plainfield Ave., Edison.
This event acknowledges her achievements as first lady. Tickets are $10 and are on sale at the Main Library, 340 Plainfield Ave., Edison, and the North Edison Library, 777 Grove Ave., Edison. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the performance starts at 7 p.m.
Middlesex County residents can experience the life and legacy of Eleanor Roosevelt. The one woman show, written by Stephen LaRocque, will highlight Roosevelt’s passion for social justice and sensitivity to the underpriviliged. This program is funded by the Edison Public Library Foundation to raise money and support the library.
