Barron ‘Barry’ Kenneth Hopman

 

Mr. Hopman, 71, of Old Bridge, passed away on July 22, 2016, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge.

Born in Salem, Mr. Hopman lived in North Jersey until moving to Old Bridge in 1978.

He enjoyed going golfing, had a pilot’s license when he was younger, was a member of Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh but most important to him was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Hopman is survived by his loving spouse of 25 years, Annette; three sons, Andrew and his wife Shannon Hopman, Matthew and his wife Michele Hopman, and Daniel Hopman; a daughter, Michelle and her husband Donald Pearson; two stepsons, Edward Jr. and his wife Angelica Tunyla, and Brian Tunyla; a stepdaughter, Lindsay Tunyla; a sister, Patricia Elson; and 10 grandchildren.

Arrangements were made by the Old Bridge Funeral Home, Old Bridge. Funeral services were held at Simpson United Methodist Church, Old Bridge. Cremation was private.
