The East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center, will sponsor an upcoming series of computer-class offerings.
Classes for August are: “PC Literacy I,” Aug. 10 at 2 p.m.; “PC Literacy II,” Aug. 17 at 2 p.m.; “Intro to MS Word,” Aug. 9 at 6:30 p.m.; “Word II,” Aug. 16 at 6:30 p.m.; “Word III,” Aug. 23 at 6:30 p.m.; “Word IV,” Aug. 30 at 6:30 p.m.; “Intro to Excel,” Aug. 4 at 6:30 p.m.; “Excel II,” Aug. 11 at 6:30 a.m.; “Excel III,” Aug. 18 at 6:30 p.m.; “Excel IV,” Aug. 25 at 6:30 p.m.; “Intro to PowerPoint,” Aug. 6 at 9:30 a.m.; “PowerPoint II,” Aug. 13 at 9:30 a.m.; “PowerPoint III,” Aug. 20 at 9:30 a.m.
“Intro to Word,” “Intro to Excel,” “Intro to PowerPoint,” “PC Literacy I” and “PC Literacy II” are free of charge. All other classes cost $10 for LMxAC cardholders, $15 for noncardholders. All fees are nonrefundable.
The library is an accredited Professional Development provider. Teachers who need continuing education credits may receive a 2-CEU certificate for taking any of the classes.
