First Aid Squad seeks community’s support

The Freehold First Aid Squad has entered its 75th year of answering medical emergencies in our community. We have evolved from a first response team for the former A&M Karagheusian rug mill to a team of certified emergency medical technicians who answer over 4,000 calls a year in Freehold Township and Freehold Borough.

Today, we appeal to our community for help. We continue to be an all-volunteer-run organization and provide medical services to our patients free of charge. We regularly train our EMTs and provide maintenance to our ambulances and medical equipment.

However, the Freehold First Aid Squad is supported only through donations. We rely on the generosity of our neighbors and community to help us continue our operations and keep our members prepared.

Please consider making a donation today in celebration of our 75 years of service. With your support, we look forward to 75 more years of service. Donations can be made online at www.freeholdems.org or sent to Freehold First Aid, 18 Spring St. Freehold, NJ 07728.
