EAST BRUNSWICK – Five juvenile suspects were charged with participating in six separate crimes throughout the months of April, May and June.
According to a statement prepared by the East Brunswick Police Department, the juveniles were charged with committing two residential burglaries, as well as three acts of criminal mischief upon two residences and a motor vehicle. They were also accused of setting a dumpster on fire at a local shopping center.
By the last week of June, police Detectives Crispin Farrace and Joe Bauer reportedly had gathered evidence through an internal investigation to charge the juveniles with the assistance of Patrolmen Chris Williams and Rodney Tillery, the statement said.
The ages and town of residence for each juvenile could not be released as of press time.
All five juveniles were released into the custody of their parents following the charges.
