The practitioners at Hightstown Medical Associates are:
• James A. Robin, MD. Dr. Robin earned his MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his internship at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Philadelphia, and residency at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Presbyterian. He also completed a fellowship in rheumatology at UPMC Presbyterian.
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Robin provides primary care for adult patients. His areas of interest include rheumatology, women’s health, managing care for older adults and treating patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and osteoporosis.
• Hank R. Lubin, MD. A graduate of Princeton University, Dr. Lubin earned his medical degree at UMDNJ (now Rutgers) Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Piscataway, and completed his internship and residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
Dr. Lubin is board certified in internal medicine and provides primary care to adult patients. His areas of interest include managing care for older adults, women’s health, sleep and snoring disorders, gastrointestinal issues, weight loss and treating individuals with obesity, diabetes, hypertension and other chronic diseases.
• Kristyn K. Phelps, MD. A graduate of Rutgers University, Dr. Phelps earned her medical degree at Temple University and completed her residency at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, and Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, N.J. She is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Phelps provides primary care to adults and also manages treatment for patients with chronic conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) as well as diabetes, hypertension and other health concerns related to obesity.
• Virginia Azarchi, MSN, NP-BC. Ms. Azarchi received her nursing degree from Massachusetts General Hospital, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Thomas Edison State College and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at The College of New Jersey. She also completed Nurse Practitioner training at The College of New Jersey.
A board certified nurse practitioner, Ms. Azarchi provides primary care to adult patients and also treats individuals with chronic diseases such as diabetes.
• Elizabeth Teixeira, DrNP, CDE. Ms. Teixeira is certified as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She is also a certified diabetes educator.
Ms. Teixeira provides primary care to adults and also manages treatment for individuals with diabetes and other obesity-related health issues.
