Middlesex County students entering grades 4-7 are invited to attend a fun summer program that focuses on the environment.
“Eco-Adventures at the E.A.R.T.H. Center” is scheduled for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. from Aug. 22-26 at the EARTH Center, in Davidson’s Mill Pond Park, 42 Riva Ave., South Brunswick.
Each day’s events will have a different theme, and hands-on activities will explore ecology, water and resource conservation, climate change, alternative energy and earth-friendly gardening.
Most days will begin with a team-building exercise to help students get acquainted. Aug. 24 will feature a field trip. Later in the week, students will create video public service announcements.
The registration fee of $110 includes program materials, a peanut-free snack, beverages and a parting gift. Attendees are expected to bring their own brown bag lunch.
