Temple Rodeph Torah’s Center for a Jewish Future has a dynamic teaching staff dedicated to providing your child’s religious school (kindergarten through seventh grade) and high school (eighth grade through 12th grade) experiences with an interactive, warm and fun learning environment. The one-day-a-week schedule with an optional enrichment day complements families’ busy schedules. The children learn through innovative hands-on projects, music and field trips. They experience holidays, “tour” Israel, study life cycle events, have a mock wedding, and a naming ceremony in which they learn about their Hebrew name and the person after whom they were named. The children learn the history of their Jewish ancestors and traditions. Not only do the students learn to read Hebrew, but they become comfortable with the meaning of the prayers and even to lead services, thus passing on the heritage from generation to generation. The newly launched joint high school program with Marlboro Jewish Center allows the children to continue their education in a creative environment where they choose elective courses from an array that includes not only academics but cooking, art and yoga. The commitment to excellence shows in the quality of students they graduate with a life-long commitment to Jewish values and tradition. Temple Rodeph Torah is located at 15 Mohawk Drive, Marlboro.
