AvalonBay is looking to open next week, in the first phase of its overall 280-unit residential development.
The town said Tuesday that the company is hoping for an Aug. 19 opening date, depending on approvals.
AvalonBay vice president Jon Vogel said Tuesday that the first residents would move into the 83-unit building that faces Witherspoon Street.
The other four buildings that are part of the project will open sometime afterward.
