PRINCETON POLICE BLOTTER: Aug. 17


An outdoor statue, valued at $500 to $1,000, was reported stolen from a front porch on Evelyn Place. The incident, which is under investigation, was reported at 12:29 a.m. Aug. 15. 

Kevin Harrison, 51, of Brooklyn, New York, was arrested on numerous outstanding warrants totaling $4,675 on Bunn Drive at 7:54 a.m. Aug. 16, after police made a welfare check. The warrants were from multiple jurisdictions. 

Amir Melvin, 18, of Trenton, was charged with tampering with public records after he was found to be in possession of two fictitious identification cards subsequent to a found-property investigation at 5:47 p.m. Aug. 14. 

Xuan Sun, 50, of Jersey City, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $100 from Jersey City Municipal Court at 9:49 p.m. Aug. 13, after police responded to a call for a motor vehicle lockout on Prospect Avenue. 

Jessica Wang, 19, of Princeton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $145 from Princeton Municipal Court after she was stopped by police for driving without turning on the car’s headlights at 9:49 p.m. Aug. 13 on Nassau Street. 

Michael Clemens, 29, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was charged with a weapons offense after he was found to have a blackjack, which is a hand-held leather strap with lead inside, in his possession on Nassau Street at 3:09 p.m. Aug. 11. 

A house in the 600 block of Snowden Lane was burglarized sometime within the last week by someone who forced entry into the house through the rear of the home. It was reported at 8:51 a.m. Aug. 11, and turned over to the detective bureau. 

Sometime over the last five weeks, a laptop computer and video game system were stolen from inside a house in the first block on Cedar Lane. The incident was reported at 5:21 p.m. Aug. 10. 

Allen Heaton, 60, of Trenton, was arrested on outstanding warrants totaling $1,043 from the Trenton and Bordentown municipal courts following a found-property call on North Harrison Street at 9:45 a.m. Aug. 10. 

Aleksandr Miljanic, 21, of Skillman, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $500 from Princeton Municipal Court after she was stopped for an inspection sticker violation on State Road at 12:11 a.m. Aug. 10. 
