Frank was always smiling and had a beautiful, generous heart. On August 11, 2016 he peacefully passed away at the age of 87 surrounded by his family.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, he has lived in Princeton Junction, NJ for the past 45 years.
Frank served his country well while in the Army, stationed in Japan during the Korean War.
Frank was employed with IBM for 33 years in the Engineering field. He loved going to and listening to opera. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, lover of the arts, traveling and the great memories of vacationing with his family on Cape Cod. Upon retirement Frank had the best of both worlds, summers at his beach house on LBI and for a short time, winters at his house in Naples, Florida.
Happily married for 59 years to Caroline Padovano Sapio, he was a devoted and proud father of five children; Jeanette Gruber (John) Wellesley, MA, Judeann Warner (Richard) Greenwich, CT, Jacalyn Keehan (Kyle) Southport, CT, Jennifer Diaz (Brian) Trumbull, CT and Stephen Sapio, Princeton Junction, NJ and 15 loving grandchildren.
To remember Frank and his love of family and friends, there will be a Celebration of Life Mass at St. Paul Catholic Church, 214 Nassau Street, Princeton, NJ on September 17, 2016 at 11:00 am.
