The East Windsor Township Police Department initiated the following police reports through Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016.
Charles L. Halyer, 37, of Somerset, was charged with shoplifting, conspiracy to commit theft, possession of burglary tools and criminal trespass; Rodney Mitchell, 57, of Bound Brook, was charged with shoplifting, conspiracy to commit theft; possession of burglary tools and obstructing justice; Raneesha S. Griffin, 29, of Monmouth Junction was charged with shoplifting, cconspiracy to commit theft and possession of burglary tools; and Quadirah M. Banks, 30, of New Brunswick, was charged with shoplifting, conspiracy to commit theft and possession burglary tools after an incident at 8:45 p.m. Aug. 4 at TJMaxx.
Officers responded to TJ Maxx on Route 571 for a report of shoplifters in the store. Further investigation revealed that four individuals were involved in shoplifting merchandise totaling $922.85. All four individuals were arrested and later released pending court action.
Nicholas J. Weigand, 19, of Milltown, N.J., was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and failure to turn on headlights after being stopped at 12:41 a.m. Aug. 8 on Route 130.
An officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 130 near Route 133 after observing a vehicle driving without headlights. Further investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Weigand was arrested and later released pending court action.
Christian Ibarra, 21, of East Windsor, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle, use of a cellular device while driving and having an obstructed view after being stopped at 8:28 p.m. Aug. 6 on Etra Road.
An officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Etra Road near Disbrow Hill Road after observing the driver using a cellular phone while driving. Further investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Ibarra was arrested and later released pending court action.
The Hightstown Borough Police Department initiated the following police reports from July 19 through Aug. 13, 2016.
Tulio A. Barrera, 56, from Westerlea Arms Apartments, was arrested July 19 for an active warrant out of Hightstown Municipal Court. Mr. Barrera was transported to headquarters, processed and later transported to Mercer County Adult Correctional Facility to be lodged.
Corey Sullivan, 18, from Hamilton, was arrested July 19 for simple assault, that occurred at Dawes Park. Mr. Sullivan was transported to headquarters, processed, and later released pending a court date.
Richmond N. Boye, 31, from the 500 block of North Main Street, was arrested Aug. 1 for an active traffic warrant out of Lawrence Municipal Court and for an active criminal warrant out of East Windsor Municipal Court. Mr. Boye was transported to headquarters, processed, and later released to the East Windsor Police Department after he was unable to post bail.
An officer observed a suspicious vehicle Aug. 2 that was occupied by two male subjects on Armellino Court. Garfield Anderson, 41, of Trenton, was arrested for possessing less than 50 grams of marijuana, and for possessing drug paraphernalia. Mr. Anderson was transported to headquarters, processed, and released pending a court date.
On August 4, 2016, between the hours of 10:45 and 11:15 a.m., a theft from a motor vehicle occurred in the Stockton Street Lot. A brown leather handbag and its contents were taken from the vehicle.
Jeff A. Barreto, 21, from East Windsor, was arrested Aug. 4 for DWI on Stockton Street. Mr. Barreto was transported to headquarters, processed, and later released to a friend.
Brian L. Gibson, 26, from Lawrenceville, was arrested Aug. 5 during the course of a motor vehicle stop for an active warrant out of Ewing Municipal Court. Mr. Gibson was transported to headquarters, processed, and later released after posting bail.
Clautere Fayette, 36, from Hamilton, was arrested Aug. 6 during the course of a motor vehicle stop for an active warrant out Englishtown Municipal Court. Mr. Fayette was transported to headquarters, processed, and later released after posting bail.
An employee from the Hightstown Borough reported Aug. 7 that several items were missing from a shed that in Dawes Park on Morrison Avenue. The shed was secured by a borough employee on Aug. 6, at approximately 4:30 p.m. The employee noticed that items were missing at approximately 7 p.m. on Aug. 7. Anyone who has information regarding this incident, please contact the Hightstown Police Department.
Tony Kinley, 26, from Trenton, was stopped on Stockton Street Aug. 7 for speeding. During the course of the motor vehicle stop, Mr. Kinley informed the officer that he did not have his identification in his possession. Mr. Kinley provided the officer with a false name and date of birth. Mr. Kinley was subsequently arrested for hindering his own apprehension and for several active outstanding warrants. He was transported to headquarters and processed. Officers from the Ewing Township Police Department later arrived at headquarters and took custody of Mr. Kinley after he was unable to post bail.
Eugene Delgado-Rodriguez, 21, from Trenton, was arrested Aug. 13 for an active traffic warrant out of Trenton Municipal Court, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Mercer Street. Mr. Delgado-Rodriguez was transported to headquarters, processed, and released after posting bail.
Elizabeth Balon, 23, from Dunellen, was arrested Aug. 13 for DWI, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Franklin Street. Ms. Balon was transported to headquarters for processing and later released to a friend.
