TINTON FALLS — The Arc of Monmouth has elected a new president of the Board of Directors.
Rachel Weiss, a resident of Wall, was recently elected to head the board of the Tinton Falls-based nonprofit agency that serves more than 1,600 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Monmouth County.
Weiss currently serves as vice president for business development for Riverview Medical Center and Bayshore Community Hospital, part of Hackensack Meridian Health. She joined the board of The Arc of Monmouth in 2011 and has been on the executive committee prior to her appointment as president of the board, most recently as first vice president.
“Rachel is a dedicated and compassionate leader with a deep commitment to the mission and core values of The Arc of Monmouth,” said Linda Mayo, executive director. “She brings a wealth of knowledge and business acumen, and we look forward to her contributions and leadership as president of our Board of Directors.”
Also joining the board is Joyce Nunziata of Freehold. Nunziata is human resources manager at Future Skies, a software development company based in Wall Township. She holds several human resources certifications and has been a member of the Society for Human Resource Management since 2000.
