Metuchen Public Library, 480 Middlesex Ave., will hold an Electronic Resources Showcase for the community on Sept. 10 from 1:30-4 p.m. Explore the value of your library card, and discover the digital resources and online databases available at the Metuchen Library at your finger tips, and learn how to improve your skills using downloadable e-resources for e-audiobooks, e-books, streaming videos and music, digital magazines and more. All you need is a valid Metuchen library card. They will conduct live demonstrations on various resources and introduce some of the featured library apps.
The Electronic Resources Showcase schedule is as follows:
1:30-2:30 p.m. demonstrations: Enterprise Online Catalog, Hoopla, eLibraryNJ, Mango Languages
2:30-2:45 p.m. demonstrations: Featured Library Apps for Mobile Devices
2:45-3:45 demonstrations: EBSCO Information Databases, Rosetta Stone, Universal Class, Zinio
3:45-4 p.m. Q&A; raffle drawing for prizes (winners need to be present)
