POLICE BLOTTER for the week of 8/26/16

The Hightstown Police Department initiated the following police reports from Aug. 16 through Aug. 21, 2016.
Tracey A. Stohwasser, 47, of East Windsor, was arrested Aug. 16 for DWI, during on Franklin Street. Mr. Stohwasser was transported to the station, processed, and later released to a friend. 
Steven L. Quizhpi-Gomez, 20, of the 100 Block of Hauser Avenue, was arrested Aug. 16 for possession of heroin, possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, and for possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Quizhpi-Gomez was found in possession of said items during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Harron Avenue. He was transported to the station, processed, and later released to a Mercer County Sheriff’s Officer for an active criminal warrant from the MCSO. 
Tulio A. Barrera, 56, of the Westerlea Arms Apartments, turned himself in Aug. 19 after he learned that he had active warrants from the Hightstown Municipal Court. Mr. Barrera was processed and later released after posting bail. 
Joseph Morno, 27, of Trenton, was arrested Aug. 19 by the NJSP on active warrants out of Hightstown and Plainsboro Municipal Court. Mr. Morno was transported to headquarters by the NJSP.He was processed and later released to the custody of the Plainsboro Police Department after he was unable to post bail. 
Diane M. Laszio, 49, of the 200 Block of Hutchinson Street, was arrested Aug. 20 for DWI, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Park Avenue. Ms. Laszio was transported to the station, processed, and later released to a friend. 
Emmanuel Ball, 40, of Philadelphia, PA, was arrested Aug. 20 by the NJSP (Bordentown Barracks) for an active warrant of Hightstown Municipal Court. An officer from Hightstown took custody of Mr. Ball at the Bordentown Barracks and transported him to the Mercer County Adult Correctional Facility after he was unable to post bail. 
William Sorber Jr., 57, of South Brunswick, was arrested Aug. 21 for an active warrant out of the Monroe Township Municipal Court, during the course of a motor vehicle stop. Mr. Sorber Jr. was transported to the station, processed, and later released to the custody of the Monroe Township Police Department after he was unable to post bail.
