September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when the Old Bridge Public Library joins with the American Library Association and public libraries nationwide to ensure that every student has a free library card.
Everyone who signs up for an Old Bridge Library card in September will receive a free cell phone wallet that attaches to the back of phones to store cards, licenses and cash. In addition, the first 50 people to sign up for a card at the library’s booth during Old Bridge Day on Sept. 24 will receive a free 4GB flash drive.
Library cards are free to Old Bridge residents, employees and property owners; others can purchase one for a $75 yearly fee.
The library is open seven days a week and is located at 1 Old Bridge Plaza at the corner of Route 516 and Cottrell Road in the Municipal Center.
