Philomena D’Apuzzo, 84, of Cranbury, loving mother and caring grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2016.
Born in Manhattan, NY, Mrs. D’Apuzzo worked for the West Windsor Board of Education in the food services department until her retirement in 2015. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, reading and taking trips to Atlantic City. She was an amazing cook and loved to prepare traditional Italian holiday dishes for her family. She will be sorely missed by all.
Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Roccalena (DeLuise) DeNisco; her husband, Ralph D’Apuzzo and her 5 siblings; she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Susan D’Apuzzo; her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah A. and Douglas Rabbino; and her grandchildren, Jennifer S. Rabbino and Matthew and Nicholas D’Apuzzo.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown, NJ.
Entombment followed at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge, NJ.
