The East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center, is sponsoring a series of computer-class offerings.
Remaining courses for September are “Word II,” 6:30 p.m., Sept. 12; “Word III,” 6:30 p.m., Sept. 19; “Word IV,” 6:30 p.m., Sept. 26; “Email Basics I,” 2 p.m., Sept. 13; “Email Basics II,” 2 p.m., Sept. 20; “LEAP iPad: Basics Voice Over,” 1 p.m., Sept. 14 and 21; “LEAP iPad: Basics Zoom Magnification,” 1 p.m., Sept. 28; “Intro to Excel,” 6:30 p.m., Sept. 8; “Excel II,” 6:30 p.m., Sept. 15; “Excel III,” 6:30 p.m., Sept. 22; “Excel IV,” 6:30 p.m., Sept. 29; “Intro to PowerPoint,” 9:30 a.m., Sept. 10; “PowerPoint II,” 9:30 a.m., Sept. 17; “PowerPoint III,” 9:30 a.m., Sept. 24.
The “Intro to Excel,” “Intro to PowerPoint,” “Email Basics” and LEAP iPad classes are free of charge. All other sessions cost $10 for LMxAC (Libraries of Middlesex Automation Consortium) cardholders, $15 for non-LMxAC cardholders. All class fees are nonrefundable.
The library is an accredited Professional Development provider. Teachers who need continuing education credits may receive a 2-CEU certificate for taking any of the classes.
