American Legion will present ’12 Angry Jurors’

PLUMSTED – American Legion Post 455 and its MTM Players will present “12 Angry Jurors,” a benefit for veterans, at 2 Meadowbrook Lane. Performance dates will be a dessert show on Oct. 8 at 7 p.m.;  dessert matinees on Oct. 9 and Oct. 16 at 3 p.m.; and a dinner show on Oct. 15 at 7 p.m.

The play is directed by Past SAL Squadron 455 Commander Rob Michael Lasky of Hamilton.

The cast includes Past Unit 455 President Deb Lasky of Hamilton; Paul Rahter of Haddon Heights; Stan Karusis of Lawrenceville; Emily O’Sullivan of Hamilton; Destyne Marshai-Pitts of Trenton; Dennis Hagen of Pennington; Matthew Donohue of Doylestown; Tim Moran of East Windsor; John Russell of Hamilton; Chuck Denk of Princeton; Charles Acosta of Levittown; and Angela Robb of Philadelphia. Post 455 Commander Dave Snody of Wrightstown will play the Guard, according to a press release.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with curtain at 7 p.m. for the Saturday performances. Ticket prices for the dinner show on Oct. 15 are $25 per person in advance and $30 at the door.

The two Sunday performances are matinees with dessert included; doors open at 2 p.m. with curtain at 3 p.m.

Opening night, Oct. 8, is also a dessert show, with doors opening at 6 p.m. and curtain at 7 p.m. Ticket prices are $19 per person in advance and $25 at the door for the three dessert show performances, according to the press release.

The MTM Players at Post 455 formed two summers ago in an effort to bring another avenue of fundraising to the local American Legion, according to the press release.

Founder and director Rob Michael Lasky brought his 25-plus years of experience as an actor and director in professional and local community theater productions to the project, according to the press release. The MTM Players is produced solely by the McKaig-Test-Mullen American Legion Post 455 Ways and Means Committee. All proceeds go toward veterans programs, veterans and their families.
