Robert Wood Johnson Fitness & Wellness Center, the region’s most professional and comprehensive fitness and wellness center, will host a free community health fair on Sept. 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its Old Bridge location at 1044 Route 9 in Parlin.
The event is free and open to the public and will include wellness screenings and information, classes and demonstrations, kids’ activities, healthy food and information displays hosted by a broad range of local businesses and vendors.
Gary Reidy, managing partner of RWJ Fitness & Wellness Centers added, “We’re delighted to be able to welcome people from our community to spend the day with us at RWJ Fitness & Wellness Center. Everything we have planned for the day is geared toward helping people take better care of themselves. We want everyone who attends, even if he or she is not a member, to have a chance to check their blood pressure and cholesterol, to learn about cooking healthier meals, and to try new exercise techniques. Attendees will also be able to tour the center and find out what we’re all about, and it’s all free and family friendly.”
