Colts Neck Reformed Church to host Election Day luncheon

COLTS NECK – The Colts Neck Reformed Church, 139 Route 537, will host its 150th annual Election Day Luncheon, Dinner and Craft Bazaar on Nov. 8. All are welcome to attend.

Reserved luncheon seats will be available at 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Open seating will be based upon availability. Take-out orders will be available beginning at 11 a.m.

The price is $10 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 12. The menu includes a choice of a hot turkey sandwich plate with dressing, or a turkey salad sandwich plate with chips. Both include cider, cranberry relish, dessert and beverage, according to a press release.

Reserved dinner seats will be available at 5 p.m., 6:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. Take-out service will be available from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Limited open seating will be available after 7 p.m. and will continue until 8 p.m.

The price for a dinner ticket, both take-out and dine in, is $15 for adults and $6 for children under the age of 12. The menu includes a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings, served family style, according to the press release.

A craft bazaar will be held at the church from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will feature holiday gifts, handmade crafts and homemade baked goods.

“This event is a time-honored tradition in Colts Neck,” church officials said in a press release. “The food is great, the atmosphere is warm and friendly, and all proceeds are given to the ongoing benevolence program of the church. If you have not attended this wonderful event, treat yourself and your family.”
