- A woman reported that someone wrote two fraudulent checks in her name, utilizing her checking account. The incident, which was reported at 5:40 p.m. Sept. 12, has been turned over to the Detective Bureau.
- Someone stole the front license plate of a car while it was parked in the 300 block of North Harrison Street between Sept.1 and Sept. 10. The theft was reported at 3:38 p.m. Sept. 12.
- Two vinyl campaign signs that had been placed in front of a Hawthorne Avenue home were damaged sometime between 7 p.m. Sept. 11 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 12.
- Phillip Miller, 42, of Lumberton, was arrested on two outstanding warrants totaling $1,000 issued by Bordentown Township Municipal Court following a random license plate inquiry on Alexander Street at 10:49 p.m. Sept. 11.
- Eliseo Cruz, 26, of New Brunswick, was charged with driving while intoxicated after the car he was driving struck a utility pole on Stockton Street at 3:30 a.m. Sept. 10. Mr. Cruz suffered an injury to his leg and was taken to Capital Health Medical Center-Hopewell for treatment.
- Several items were taken from an unlocked car while it was parked on Fisher Avenue on Sept. 7 and Sept. 8. The theft was reported at 6:33 p.m. Sept. 8.
- A woman reported the theft of her purse from inside her unlocked car while it was parked on Spring Street. The burglary and theft incident was reported at 9:11 p.m. Sept. 8.
- Cell phone chargers, chewing gum and Burberry-style women’s sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked car while it was parked on Fisher Avenue sometime on Sept. 7 and Sept. 8.
- Christopher Stokes, 29, of Trenton, was arrested on an outstanding no-bail warrant issued by Mercer County Superior Court after he was involved in a motor vehicle accident on South Harrison Street at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 8.
- A shoplifter took numerous Gillette razor blades and Nexium tablet packages, valued at about $200, from McCaffrey’s Supermarket at the Princeton Shopping Center. The theft was reported at 1:33 p.m. Sept. 7.
- Someone vandalized a vehicle that was parked on Redding Circle sometime on Sept. 5. The incident was reported at 9:54 a.m. Sept. 5.
