MILLSTONE – A Halloween parade for the community’s youngsters will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 30 in Millstone Township.
Parking, registration and the parade line-up will take place from 1:45-2 p.m. at the fields behind the Clarksburg Inn, Route 524 (Stagecoach Road). The Halloween parade will begin promptly at 2 p.m. and Route 524 will be closed at that time.
There will be judging for the scariest, prettiest, funniest, most original and most patriotic costumes. Goodie bags and costume prizes will be awarded.
The parade is coordinated by the Millstone Township Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and sponsored by Millstone Township area businesses and organizations, according to a flier.
Individuals or business owners who would like to donate individually wrapped candy may drop it off before Oct. 18 at the Millstone Township firehouse, Route 524, Clarksburg, between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

In another fall event, the Millstone Township Hospital Auxiliary will host a Harvest Dinner-Dance from 7-11 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Millstone Elks Club, Burnt Tavern Road. Admission is $20 and includes music and dinner. Proceeds from the dinner-dance will benefit cancer care at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.
