Keyport’s 19th annual Screamin’ Country Jamboree will be held on Oct. 8 and Oct.9 at Waterfront Park. This year’s celebration features amusement rides, food, vendors, fireworks, live entertainment, a beer garden, a motorcycle show, a Chili-inspired cook-off and Screamin’ Contests.
On Saturday, the Hot Wheels Motorcycle Show will be held on lower Main Street. At night, enjoy a Fireworks Boomanza in conjunction with “Marc Muller’s Grateful Jamband” tribute.
On Sunday the yearly Chili Cook-Off and Tasting competition is open to all chili-inspired dishes. The Chili Cook-Off will start at noon on Sunday. A winner will be announced at 5 p.m.
Oct. 8 will feature a square dance demonstration and lesson from the Middletown Ramblers Square Dance Club, a Hot Wheels Motorcycle Show at noon and Super Saturday Fireworks Boomanza at 8 p.m. Live Performances include 11 a.m. Ring of Fire, 1 p.m. Lauren Davidson, 3:15 p.m. American Road, 5:45 p.m. Mark Muller’s Grateful Jamband.
Oct. 9 includes a 12 p.m. Chili Tastin’ and Competition. Live Performances are 11 a.m. Barry Ryan’s Rockabilly X, 1:30 p.m. Southern Steel and 4 p.m. Citizens Band Radio.
The Annual Keyport Screamin’ Country Jamboree will be held held rain or shine. There will be no registration fee. For more information, call 732-739-5138.
