WEST WINDSOR: Police issue warning to residents after weekend burglaries

By Lea Kahn, Staff Writer
WEST WINDSOR — In the wake of two early morning burglaries to homes over the weekend, the West Windsor Township Police Department is encouraging residents to lock their windows and doors — including the deadbolt lock.
Two homes were entered in the early morning hours of Sept. 25, in both cases through unlocked doors or windows, police said.
One burglary occurred between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. in the West Windsor Estates II development, off Bennington Drive. The second burglary occurred at 4 a.m. at a home in the Princeton Oaks development, off Lanwin Boulevard.
Residents should lock their doors and windows, police said. Anyone who has exterior surveillance cameras in those developments, or the surrounding areas should review the video footage, and report any suspicious activity to police at 609-799-1222.
