The Hopewell Township Police Department reported the following incidents from Sept. 2 through Sept. 13, 2016.
The charges are no more than an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
John P. Mongillo, of Cherry Hill, was taken into police custody on Friday, Sept. 2, for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
According to police, Officer Vincent Amabile stopped a 2016 Ford for going 84 mph on Route 29, near Route 546, at approximately 2 a.m. While speaking with Mr. Mongillo, the officer allegedly smelled alcohol on his breath. Following a roadside sobriety test, the driver was taken into custody.
Mr. Mongillo was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and released to a family member. He was charged with DWI, speeding and reckless driving. His case will be heard in municipal court.
Police are searching for information regarding a reported theft that took place at Freedman Jewelers on Thurs. Sept. 8 at approximately 12:30 p.m.
Officials said two unidentified African-American males in their 40s, as well as an unknown African-American female in her 30s, entered the store and distracted employees. After some time, police said the individuals left without purchasing anything.
Soon after, the employees noticed that five pieces of jewelry, with a total estimated value of $10,089, were missing.

A mountain bike, valued at approximately $550 was reported stolen from a Spring Hollow Road home on Wed. Sept. 7.
According to officials, the resident told Officer Christopher Vaccarino that someone had entered their attached garage within the preceding five days and absconded with the bicycle.

Rex Destiny S. Roskos, of Trevose, Pa. and Anton Nikiforov, of Langhorne, Pa., were taken into police custody for their alleged involvement in a burglary on River Drive.
According to officials, the two 23 year-old men were located by Officers John Ferner and Mandy Grey, who responded to a report of an ongoing burglary at an unoccupied home at about 6:15 p.m. on Sun. Sept, 11.
During their investigation, police said the officers located a painting that had been taken from the residence. The two men were subsequently placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters.
Both Mr. Roskos and Mr. Nikiforov were released after posting bail. Their cases will be forwarded to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.
An individual from Washington Avenue in Titusville reported the theft of tools and electronics from his unlocked vehicle, worth approximately $2,800.
Police arrived at the scene on Sun. Sept. 11 at 2 p.m.

Steven D. Mullen, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody by the Hopewell Township Police Department for an outstanding warrant out of Long Branch Township.
According to police, Mr. Mullen was going 40 mph on Princeton Avenue just before 1 p.m. on Tues. Sept. 13 when Officer Kevin Koveloski stopped him. While speaking with the driver, the officer was alerted to the warrant and placed him under arrest.
Mr. Mullen was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed, posted bail, and was released after being cited for speeding and being unlicensed in New Jersey. His case will be heard in municipal court.
