To the editor:
I am writing this letter in support of our mayor, Frank DelCore, for re-election this fall.
I believe that the primary role of the Township Committee is to prudently manage the township’s tax dollars. Our Township Committee, led by Mayor DelCore, has consistently shown their commitment to keeping spending and debt down. This year there was no tax increase in the municipal government budget which tells me that our officials continue to effectively manage tax dollars.
Their fiscal management has resulted in a AA+ credit rating for the township which means the township is in excellent financial health. From Day 1, Mayor DelCore has focused on fiscal responsibility and he has delivered.
I believe Mayor DelCore has earned re-election and I will be voting for him on Nov. 8.
