Autism MVP Walk on Nov. 6 in Lincroft

The second annual Autism MVP Walk will be held beginning at 11 a.m. on Nov. 6 at Thompson Park, 805 Newman Springs Rd., Lincroft.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. An inclusive day of family fun will include activities for kids, complimentary hot chocolate, coffee and donuts, and a no-pressure 5K walk along a picturesque paved trail. The walk will be held rain or shine.

The Autism MVP Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded by Keith Green of Little Silver, who, along with his wife Donna, have been inspired by their young son with autism and the educators and therapists who have helped make a difference in his life. The foundation is committed to honoring, recognizing and creating the most valuable professionals in the field.

The Autism MVP Foundation has partnered with the Monmouth University School of Education to fund a model teacher and paraprofessional training program to educate and engage children on the autism spectrum.
