East Windsor Township has launched a completely new website featuring a user-friendly format, greater mobile device and tablet compatibility, and easily accessible resources for the public.
Users will find access to municipal government information as well as public documents and forms, including the township code, council agendas and minutes, and various licensing and permit forms.
Additionally, users can sign up for township e-news updates which keep subscribers informed about subjects of public interest as new stores, special events, grants and roadway projects monitor emergency alerts, and readily access prior e-news updates as well as back issues of the township newsletter. The website also gives the township an enhanced ability to put out alerts during emergencies in order to get needed information to residents efficiently.
“We are excited to announce the launch of this new East Windsor website, which facilitates user access by our residents and businesses to our municipal government and a myriad of useful resources,” said Mayor Janice Mironov. “The site can be used in a variety of ways, from learning out about and registering for various recreation programs, to obtaining forms for municipal permits and licenses, to reporting a pothole, to volunteering for a board or committee. Two major goals of government should be accessibility and transparency, and this website is a valuable vehicle in serving these interests. We are confident that residents will find the website to be a helpful and convenient resource, and certainly welcome feedback.”
Note that the township website address has not changed and remains at www.east-windsor.nj.us .
