• A benefit for Nicole Shubeck, 24, will be held at The Cabin, 984 Route 33, Howell, beginning at noon Oct. 16. Shubeck is battling diffused large cell lymphoma. • Monmouth County Audubon Society will tour a banding station on Sandy Hook in northern Monmouth County to learn about the process.
