Asbury Park Santa Run 5K race and charity event set for Dec. 10

ASBURY PARK — Peak Projects has announced the first inaugural Asbury Park Santa Run 5K race and charity event will take place in Asbury Park on Dec. 10.

Partial proceeds will benefit Lunch Break, a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to providing food, clothing and fellowship to local community members in need. There will also be a food drive and toy drive for local families in need.

The race challenges runners and walkers of all abilities to complete a 5K closed course on the streets of Asbury Park. All runners will be given their own Santa suit at registration. After the race, there will be an after-party across from the finish line at Wonder Bar for runners age 21 and over. The party will feature live music, drink specials and food.
