The Rams entered the contest as a heavy underdog but pulled off the big upset in dramatic fashion. The Rams heralded ground game led the way. Jazz Walker, Isaiah Thornton, Jaylen Gundy and Danny Wersching all ran for touchdowns. Wersching also hooked up with Matt Vingara on an extra point pass and he ran one in as well. Liam O’Donnell once again did it all for the Rams as he played multiple positions on offense (offensive line and running back) and defense (defensive line and linebacker). Dylan Schendlinger led the defense with a key fumble recovery to seal the victory. Bryce Gordon was a force in stopping the Shamrocks power running game and Matt Vingara was all over the North Edison receivers and made a key interception.
