National Geographic Channel will premiere its unprecedented global event series MARS on Monday, Nov. 14 at 9 p.m. From executive producers Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, this 6-part series showcases the dramatic setbacks and successes of the modern scientific space revolution, while envisioning humankind’s attempt to colonize the planet that has captured our collective imagination more than any other. The story is told from the vantage point of a fictitious crewed mission to Mars in 2033. “MARS” has brought together the world’s leading minds in a way never before accomplished to help tell the story.
Netflix will premiere The Crown on Friday, Nov. 4, which tells the inside story of two of the most famous addresses in the world … Buckingham Palace and 10 Downing Street, along with the intrigues, love lives and machinations behind the great events that shaped the second half of the 20th century. IFC will premiere its new series Stan Against Evil with back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 10 p.m. This original horror-comedy series follows Stan Miller (John C. McGinley), a former sheriff of a small New England town who was forced into retirement. He forms an unlikely alliance with the new sheriff, Evie Barret (Janet Varney). Together they valiantly fight a plague of unleashed demons that have been haunting the town, which just happens to be built on the site of a massive 17th century witch burning.
The wait is almost over for Billy Eichner to return with the season five premiere of truTV’s Billy on the Street, Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 9 p.m. In the new season, Billy will be joined in the streets of New York City by Hollywood notables like Aziz Ansari, Jon Hamm, Keegan-Michael Key, Lupita Nyong’o, John Oliver, Seth Rogen, Andy Samberg and Jacob Tremblay.
