• The Ladies of St. Joseph, Millstone Township, will sponsor a bus trip to Lancaster, Pa., for Sight & Sound Theatres’ presentation of “Samson” on Dec. 6. • Gwenne Baile, an environmental commissioner in Haddon Township and chair of the Haddon Township Backyard Chicken Advisory Board and of Camden County Chickens, will be the featured speaker at the Nov. 10 meeting of the Allentown Garden Club. Baile was instrumental in changing her town’s laws to allow a successful pilot project which continues today, and she will share her experiences and information for home gardeners who would like to raise hens. • A free rabies vaccination clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 5 at the New Egypt firehouse, 59 Main St., New Egypt. Residents of all towns may bring a dog or a cat to be vaccinated. Bring proof of previous rabies vaccination or current license in order for a dog to receive a three-year immunization. Dogs must be on a leash; cats must be in a carrier.

• A Christmas artisan and craft fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 3 at the New Egypt United Methodist Church, Atkinson Hall, 38 N. Main St., New Egypt. Free admission. • Monmouth County Audubon Society will tour a banding station on Sandy Hook in northern Monmouth County to learn about the process. The group will meet at 8 a.m. Nov. 12 on Sandy Hook near M lot, the most northerly parking lot.
