Halloween decorations can be found throughout Hightstown as the borough readies for the spooky season. In order to allow for safe trick-or-treating, the borough will close Stockton Street between Church Street and Summit Avenue from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31. In addition, Bank Street and Rogers Avenue will be closed to westbound traffic during that time. There will also be a temporary no parking ban on Rogers Avenue from Stockton Street to Academy Street; on Summit Street between Stockton Street and Mercer Street; on Academy Street between Rogers Avenue and Mercer Street; and on Church Street. All residents are asked to stop distributing treats by 9 p.m.
