Several cars burglarized at West Windsor Community Park

WEST WINDSOR — Police are investigating several break-ins into cars while they were parked at West Windsor Community Park on Oct. 15 during the afternoon, according to the West Windsor Township Police Department.
In two of the incidents, the burglar smashed the driver’s side rear window to gain access, and in the third incident, the passenger’s side front window was broken, police said. The incidents were reported to police between 6:20 and 6:30 p.m.
The burglar stole a purse belonging to a 37-year-old West Windsor resident after breaking into the victim’s 2015 Acura. The burglar also stole a tote bag containing various items after breaking into a 2016 Acura belonging to a 50-year-old Trenton resident.
But nothing was taken from a 2015 Honda belonging to a 42-year-old West Windsor resident, police said. 
