Children’s author/artist Jan Brett will appear at 10 a.m. on Nov. 27, at Barnes & Noble, 419 Menlo Park Mall, Edison.
Her latest book is “Gingerbread Christmas” (Putnam). Her illustrations are loved for their classic beauty and life-like images. In “Gingerbread Christmas”, Gingerbread Baby takes his gingerbread band to the Christmas festival where they are a hit until their yummy aroma reaches the children. Suddenly, it is time to make an escape or get devoured. The Gingerbread Baby leads the audience on a chase through a Swiss village to the smartest hiding place ever.
