SupplyHouse.com, an e-commerce company that sells plumbing, heating and HVAC supplies, recently opened a new 150,000-square-foot distribution center in Cranbury. The company plans to hire about 35 people for general labor and warehouse positions.
With its central location, SupplyHouse.com is able to ship quickly to a wider range of customers in New Jersey. This allows the company to expand its fast track zip codes while still covering the locations in Farmingdale, N.Y., where the previous warehouse was located. The Fast Track program allows customers to place orders on certain items and receive them the next day dependent upon their location.
The central industrial location, ProLogis Park, is located right off the Jersey Turnpike, and features more than 2 million square feet of space on 150-plus acres.
This provides the company with the opportunity to continue to grow without having to move again in the near future.
The company currently employs 144 people total with locations in New York, Ohio, and now New Jersey.
