Cheers to Lucifer for raising hell — and the stakes. By adding Tricia Helfer as Luci’s enigmatic mom and upping the heat between Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) and Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt), Tom Ellis’s (pictured, with Helfer) little devil has been so much fun in Season 2 it should be a sin.
Jeers to Quantico for quan-fusing us. Between the double-crosses, triple agents and faux threesomes, it’s hard to trust anyone around Alex (Priyanka Chopra, with Blair Underwood and Russell Tovey), let alone decide who we want to see survive.
Jeers to This is Us for committing patricide. Of course, hot dad Jack (Milo Ventimiglia, with Mandy Moore) is dead in the modern-day storyline. It’s like TV’s most sensitive series isn’t happy unless it makes us weep on a weekly basis.
Cheers to Dancing With the Stars for toying with our emotions. You can’t bring back judge Len Goodman (pictured) — who perfectly shut down glib pro Gleb Savchenko — and then let him go right back to his other show in the U.K. We need that ballroom bully here full-time.
