LADACIN Network held a Casino Night and Gift Auction at Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club, Howell, on Oct. 14 to benefit infants, children and adults with complex physical and developmental disabilities or delays, living in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
The event raised more than $40,600 to help fund LADACIN’s programs, including educational, therapeutic, social and residential services, according to a press release.
The ballrooms were transformed into a casino where more than 300 guests tried their hand at poker, roulette and craps. Adding to the excitement of the evening was a 50/50 raffle and special raffles including a cooler of cheer, a GoPro and an iPad Air, according to the press release.
A live auction featured tickets to Giants, Knicks and Nets games. More than 130 gift items that were displayed in the auction room went home with lucky winners.
Rockin’ Robyn from WRAT-FM served as master of ceremonies, entertaining the crowd as she read the winning ticket numbers.
Co-chairs Bonnie Hogan, Neptune, and Marlene Bell, Marlboro, led a dedicated group of volunteer and employee committee members who organized and ran the evening, according to the press release.
