The annual Terry Paul Memorial Scholarship Football Tournament (flag football) will take place at Long Branch High School on Nov. 20, with kickoff at 11 a.m.
Everyone is invited to the event in the role of their choice, as players, fans, friends and supporters of the Terry Paul Memorial Scholarship Fund. All proceeds of the event will go to the fund to assist a graduating Long Branch student attend college or advanced studies.
Terry Paul was beloved in the community and recognized as a young man of great potential. He graduated from Long Branch High School with many awards and as a member of the National Honor Society. After a year at Monmouth University as a biology major, he transferred to East Carolina University, declaring as a chemistry major and planning a path to medical school and a career as a doctor.
