Christel Ruehle, 94 was granted her angel wings on November 18, 2016, peacefully surrounded by family.
Christel was born on January 24, 1922 in Allenstein, Germany. Mrs. Ruehle and husband Josef immigrated to Princeton, NJ in 1953 and has been a resident of Skillman, NJ since 1957. She is survived by her husband, Josef Ruehle of Skillman, New Jersey and two sons; Bryan Ruehle of Neshanic, New Jersey, Herbert Ruehle and Daughter-In-Law Jennifer Ruehle of Hopewell, New Jersey. Christel has five grandchildren, Theresa, Elizabeth, Alejandro, Tatiana, and Kendall Ruehle all of Hopewell, New Jersey. Christel is survived by brother, Werner Hering and many nieces and nephews in Germany. She is also survived by her loving friend Miriam Bebich of Ewing, New Jersey. Christel, also known as “The Oma” enjoyed a long, wonderful life touching many hearts. She had a passion for cooking and baking. Christel’s final resting place will be at Franklin Memorial Park in New Brunswick.
