SHOWTIME will premiere Madonna: Rebel Heart Tour concert film on Friday, Dec. 9 at 9 p.m.
Smithsonian Channel will recount major events with rare news footage in its new series The Lost Tapes, premiering Sunday, Dec. 4 at 9 p.m. The first episode is titled The Lost Tapes: Pearl Harbor, which will offer a detailed account of Dec. 7, 1941, taken straight from radio reports, film footage, audiotape, photos, wire dispatches and first-person accounts of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Other episodes will cover the L.A. Riots, the Son of Sam killings, and the Patty Hearst kidnapping.
James Taylor will perform at the 94th Annual National Christmas Tree Lighting, which will telecast exclusively on Hallmark Channel on Monday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m, and simulcast on DirecTV 4K Ultra HD. Taking place on the Ellipse at President’s Park on the White House grounds, this is an American holiday tradition started by President Calvin Coolidge in 1923. The National Park Service has cared for the White House and its grounds since 1933 and more than 20,000 National Park Service employees care for America’s 413 national parks.
A Pentatonix Christmas Special will deliver the holiday spirit Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. on NBC. This Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum selling vocal group promises to take us on a musical journey through holiday favorites. Special guests Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson are set to join in the holiday fun.
