PRINCETON POLICE BLOTTER: Dec. 7


Angel Lara-Herrera, 29, of Kingston, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose following an altercation on Witherspoon Street at 2:07 a.m. Dec. 5. He allegedly had a knife in his possession. He was served with a complaint summons for the charges. 

Natalie Jacoby, 46, of Bedminster, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, driving with a suspended driver’s license and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance following a motor vehicle stop on State Road at 6:46 p.m. Dec. 4. She was released with a pending court date. 

Someone entered a business on Paul Robeson Place sometime between 2 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Nov. 30 while it was closed. There was no damage to the building and nothing was reported missing. The incident was reported at 12:04 p.m. Nov. 30. 

An assortment of merchandise, valued at a combined $185, was taken from a store in the 100 block of Nassau Street by a shoplifter at 3 p.m. Nov. 29. The incident was reported at 7:09 p.m. Nov. 29. 

A shoplifter went into a store on Palmer Square West around 3:30 p.m. Nov. 29 and took an assortment of merchandise valued at a combined $260. The incident was reported at 4:08 p.m. Nov. 29. 

Nathan Barnes, 47, of Milton, Florida, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $114 from Princeton Municipal Court after police responded to a call of a verbal dispute in the 700 block of State Road at 2:23 p.m. Nov. 29. He was released with a pending court date. 

A burglar tried unsuccessfully to enter a Dorann Avenue home through a garage door. No entry was made into the house. The incident was reported at 10:13 a.m. Nov. 24. 

Madison Negron, 24, of Bordentown, was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash on Mercer Street at 1:50 a.m. Nov. 20. She was released with a pending court date. 
